DIY Baking Soda Shampoo and Apple Cider Vinegar Conditioner

Caution: Do not confuse Baking soda with caustic soda (sodium hydroxide). Unlike bicarbonate, this substance is highly corrosive.

Hair and scalp care: the virtues of baking soda:

What do we need :

Baking Soda .

Apple vinegar .

Water .

Essential oils to flavor or even increase some properties ( lavender, peppermint, tea tree oil,.., and/or rosemary essential oil ) .

How to prepare it?

Dissolve one tablespoon of baking soda in a glass of warm water and fill the first bottle with this mixture. This mixture is actually the shampoo itself, so it will be possible to increase or reduce the amount of baking soda depending on the type of hair (more or less fat). The more greasy hair, the more baking soda you need to add.

The application of the baking soda can be supplemented by rinsing with apple vinegar for further gloss.

Mix a quarter glass of apple vinegar and a glass of water and fill the second bottle. This second mixture will serve as a conditioner and in the same way, we will adjust the amount of vinegar to our hair type. The more the hair is dry, the more vinegar will be added.

To avoid the vinegar smell, add a few drops of lavender, peppermint, and/or rosemary essential oil to the vinegar mixture.

How to apply it?

Apply the mixture containing the baking soda to different places in the head and massage gently .

Rinse with water. Your hair will become a bit rough, but the vinegar will then balance your pH again.

Then apply the vinegar mixture and rinse again.

Note: it is advisable not to apply the mixture near the eyes.

Advice :

We can add essential oils to flavor or even increase some properties. For example, tea tree oil will help us eliminate dandruff, rosemary oil will help us to avoid hair loss, and lavender oil will relax the scalp and leave a pleasant smell. In any case, the smell of vinegar disappears when the hair is dry.

Baking Soda Shampoo & Apple Cider Vinegar Conditioner : It Will Make Your Hair Grow Faster Than Ever

If we have dry hair, we can apply some jojoba oil or sesame oil after washing, and from time to time apply a moisturizing mask.

When we stop using chemicals, it takes time for the hair to regenerate its natural protective layer, which is why during the first few days or even the first few weeks it is quite possible to have greasy hair or to have more dandruff. If we are patient, in the long run our hair will make it good!

Thanks to this richness, cider vinegar provides many benefits for the whole body. If you suffer from pain in the muscles of the feet and legs, making a foot bath with cider vinegar can relieve you and more.
Here are some benefits you can get by soaking your feet in a cider vinegar bath:

Cider vinegar fights against pain!

Swollen and painful feet can cause discomfort for sure, but you can relieve them with cider vinegar. The latter is known for its anti-inflammatory properties which can help reduce the swelling of your feet and soothe the pain you suffer.
Simply add a serving of cider vinegar to two servings of water and a few teaspoons of Epsom salt. Soak your feet for 20 to 30 minutes to get rid of aches and pains in no time.

Cider vinegar eliminates the odor!

Very strained, locked in shoes, subjected to rubbing, feet sweat and bad odors settle. Sweating and bad odors are more important in case of skin disease, fungal infections or diabetes. Fortunately, you can get rid of this scent with the help of cidervinegar. Mix cider vinegar, thyme oil, hot water and baking soda in a large bowl or bathtub, then immerse your feet for at least 30 minutes. Apple cider vinegar and baking soda will be able to eliminate any inflammation and odors from the feet.

Cider vinegar treats athlete's foot!

Athlete's foot is a mushroom infection that usually affects the skin between the toes. Redness appears in the creases, then the skin is dry and peels. The name derives from the fact that sportsmen frequently suffer from it. The sweat of the feet creates an ideal environment for the proliferation of fungi: wet, warm and dark. The athlete's foot can be easily treated with cider vinegar. Simply add half a cup of cider vinegar and two tablespoons of Epsom salt to a basin filled with hot water. Soak your feet for 10 minutes every day. Another way to speed up the healing is to wipe your feet with this solution after taking a bath or shower.

Cider vinegar exfoliates dry skin!

Dryness of the skin of the feet, which is more unsightly than severe, leads to the appearance of calluses (layers of thick, hard skin), which are more frequent in women than in men. These affections are most often due to repeated friction and pressure. Dry feet can also result from genetic predispositions, in people whose skin is dry in nature, or from a pathology such as diabetes. One way to revive your dry skin is to soak your feet in cider vinegar and use a pumice stone to exfoliate dead skin.

Would you try Marijuana gum for chronic pain relief ?

If the results of the upcoming study are positive, people with multiple sclerosis may have access to a marijuana gum for the treatment of symptoms of this neurological disease by 2018. The gum is manufactured by AXIM Biotechnology, Inc. and will be known as MedChew Rx.

Marijuana gum has been tested in the treatment of spasticity pain associated with multiple sclerosis, and the company expects the Food and Drug Administration and the European Medicines Agency to approve the use of the product for this purpose. MedChew Rx contains 5 milligrams of cannabidiol (CBD) and 5 milligrams of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and will be available by prescription.

Cannabidiol is one of the 100 cannabinoid chemicals found in marijuana plants. It does not cause it to break down and has been shown to have multiple health benefits, including an ability to treat seizures and other neurological disorders. THC, another type of cannabinoids, has psychoactive properties as well as medicinal abilities.

How marijuana gum works :

Dr. George E. Anastassoy, MD, DDS, MBA, CEO of AXIM Biotechnology, said that marijuana gum is unique because of its "precise mechanism of controlled release of oral mucous capillary circulation" it bypasses the liver. According to Professor John Zajicek, a medical cannabis expert and the person responsible for conducting and monitoring AXIM clinical trials on pain and spasticity in multiple sclerosis, getting marijuana components by chewing is safer. Indeed, mastication is associated with fewer side effects and is socially more acceptable than traditional methods, such as smoking or oral consumption.

Zajicek noted in a company statement that "Chewing gum is potentially a good method of avoiding respiratory irritation" that some people experience while smoking and that "it will deliver a prolonged dose without making people squish ".

Other benefits of marijuana gum :

The gum also provides "neuroprotective and neurostimulatory benefits" derived from mastication, an activity which in itself has a therapeutic impact. In fact, research has shown that chewing favors the production of neurons (neurogenesis) and :

 stimulates the cardiovascular system

 improves oral health.

It also helps reduce stress and memory loss associated with aging.
